Get to Know Rajiv Patel, MD Board Director Dr. Rajiv Patel joined Bluestone Physician Services as Chief Executive Officer in May 2023. As a MD/MBA physician executive, he brings extensive strategic and operational expertise with a deep understanding of value based care, Managed Medicare and Medicaid markets and significant experience in rapidly growing mobile, primary care provider groups that work with complex and vulnerable patient populations. Before joining Bluestone, Dr. Patel served as President of Centene Corporation’s Health Care Enterprises Provider Strategy where he led three of Centene’s Health Services and Provider based companies — Community Medical Group, Collaborative Health Systems and Bayless Integrated Health. During his time with Centene, Dr. Patel was also the CEO of US Medical Management, a mobile primary care practice that serves complex populations, where he led the company’s transformation into operating in value based care arrangements. Dr. Patel began his career as an internal medicine resident at SSM Health in St. Louis, Missouri, where he spent 17 years serving in several physician leadership roles. Dr. Patel is a champion for population health care through primary care models that deliver high quality outcomes, increased value and better experiences for patients and health care givers and a proponent of pursuing health equity to improve the health of our communities. He is active in the industry and serves on the Board of the American Academy of Home Care Medicine. In his spare time, Rajiv enjoys reading, cooking, outdoor activities and spending time with his family. Education:
