Get to Know Rebecca Ramsay

Rebecca is the Chief Executive Officer of Housecall Providers, bringing a wealth of healthcare knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for improving care for vulnerable populations. She earned her nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s in Public Health from Portland State University. Prior to joining Housecall Providers, Rebecca served as the Executive Director of Population Health Partnerships for CareOregon, where she spent 12 years collaborating with a wide range of community stakeholders to create innovative population health programs and care transformation initiatives.

Throughout her career, Rebecca has made significant contributions to improving care for high-risk, high-need individuals. She served as faculty for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) for six years, helping shape the curriculum for the “Better Health, Lower Cost” national learning collaborative. Rebecca was also selected to work with national leaders in the Complex Care Innovation Lab hosted by the Center for Health Care Strategies. She currently co-chairs the Legislative and Policy Committee of the American Academy of Home Care Medicine and serves on the Program and Planning Committee, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Home Centered Care Institute.

Rebecca has always been dedicated to addressing inequities faced by underserved populations and has extensive experience in integrating data, behavioral health services, and chronic disease resources to provide the best care for patients with complex needs. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and international travel. As an avid cyclist, she enjoys seeking out new challenges and is also passionate about watching her son play college baseball.
