One of the sessions that created the most buzz at the Annual Meeting was introducing the Educator’s Toolkit. An inter-professional resource suite designed by house call providers and educators, the toolkit centralizes best practices and quality standards in home-based care education.

The toolkit contains faculty resources like sample learning objectives and reading lists, teaching content like sample slide sets and screening tools, and learning modules for the self-directed inter-professional learner. The project was spearheaded by Drs. Katherine Wang and Rachel Zimmer with the support of AAHCM and the Education Committee, led by Drs. Rachel Miller and Melissa Morgan-Gouveia, and a team of home-based care educators who generously volunteered their expertise and time.
