The webinar is for practitioners who provide home based primary care and focuses on Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) and secondary risk reduction in the home setting. It includes an overview of current independent third-party evidence-based anticoagulation guidelines and practical guidance to implement these guidelines in the home setting. AAHCM has provided an educational pamphlet with a detailed explanation for patients and families on VTE, how it is caused, and an overview of the care that will be provided to address the patient’s health as it relates to VTE.
