This webinar will describe which patient’s maybe candidates for use of home-based ventilator units. Emphasis will be on non-invasive ventilators. Learners will obtain a basic understanding of when to use Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV). The webinar will also present potential complications and the benefits of this type of therapy.

By the end of this session the participants will:

    1.Describe which patients are best served with CPAP/NIV respiratory support.
    2.List the potential complications from this therapy.
    3.List the benefits from this therapy.
    4.Describe how to implement these
