2017 American Academy of Home Care Medicine (AAHCM) Annual Meeting
Loews Chicago O'Hare
Transforming Our Past, Building Our Future
Join us for our all-new independent and inclusive meeting with educational programming designed and delivered by pioneers in the field of home-based primary care. We have redesigned our meeting to focus on the issues and challenges that face the broad spectrum of healthcare professions who provide in-home primary care.
Our programming is diverse and inspiring, with legislative, clinical, and Veterans Administration tracks ideal for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, social workers, and administrators in the home-based primary care field. Small-group networking sessions and a reception with innovators in the field provide opportunities to connect with home care medicine colleagues and industry leaders.

AAHCM is dedicated to facilitating the professional development of medical residents and students. If you're interested in learning more about the field of home care medicine and building a professional network with the clinical leaders in this growing field, apply for a travel grant to attend our 2017 Annual Meeting.
The AAHCM Board of Directors would like to acknowledge, Dr. Robert Kaiser, member of the AAHCM Board of Directors for his generous donation, which made possible the awarding of these travel grants.
Ten travel grants will be awarded this year to residents/students who meet the following criteria:
Travel grant awardees will be selected by a scoring process that includes an assessment of need and merit through abstract submission and an applicant statement. Each travel grant will cover the cost of student/resident registration at the Annual Meeting and provide $250 to offset the costs of travel and lodging expenses.
The deadline for submitting the completed application is July 21, 2017, at 11:59 PM PT.
Applicants will be notified by August 1, 2017, whether they have received a grant. This will allow ample time for all applicants to take advantage of the early-bird registration discount.
All applicants, regardless of award status, will be invited to participate in a Travel Grant post-program online survey following the AAHCM Annual Meeting.
